This is my first attempt at taking a picture of the Moon with my new Celeston AstroMaster 70 telescope. I used the O-ring adapter to plug my Nikon D7000 directly in to the telescope.

I need to get a better tri-pod, the image was shaking the whole time I was trying to get it focused and it was hard to make fine adjustments to the vertical and horizontal position. The focus is not perfect because it the image was moving around as I tried to focus and I had to zoom in on the image to make the fine adjustments to the focus. Overall I think it looks OK for my first attempt.
